Michael J. Hensley, MD
President

In addition to serving as president, Dr. Hensley manages the clinical and regulatory functions for KangLaiTe USA. His 35 years of industry experience include time as a Medical Officer at the US FDA and serving as Vice President for Medical and Regulatory Affairs at Quintiles, as well as substantial experience managing clinical trials and directing regulatory teams at companies including Chiron, Pasteur Merieux Connaught, and Schering Plough. While at Quintiles, he filed the US IND for Kanglaite Injection and led the pre-IND meeting with the CDER oncology group. He has been a consultant and advisor to Zhejiang Kanglaite Group since 2003, and joined KangLaiTe USA as its president in June, 2007.

Amy J. Percy, PhD, MBA
Chief Operating Officer

Dr. Percy manages the business, financial, and legal functions for KangLaiTe USA, as well as having responsibility for preclinical research. Her 20 years in the biotechnology industry include substantial research & development experience in companies including Amylin Pharmaceuticals, as well as business development experience. She was most recently Sr. Director of Business Development at Avigen, Inc, where her achievements included in-licensing what became the company’s lead molecule in a deal valued at over $100 million. Dr. Percy joined Kanglaite USA in May, 2007.
